Bill Lunsford Construction and Development

Bill Lunsford Construction & Development, Inc., has the solid core organization to support most any size construction/real estate project. With over eighty years combined experience, we specialize in industrial and commercial projects, and in real estate development.

Our services include pre-planning design, site selection, construction management, value engineering, real estate development, commercial real estate sales and leasing. Our project managers have experience in a full range of architectural structures. Our firm provides the ultimate in construction and development services through careful planning, expert management, intelligent problem solving, open communication with our clients and strong ethical decision-making.

Bill Lunsford Construction & Development, Inc., has successfully completed projects for clients from a broad spectrum; both state and local municipalities, industrial sites, medical facilities, college campuses, as well as private businesses and corporations. We have a deep knowledge and experience in multi-family complexes and land development.

We are also proud to be able to continue to spearhead projects of vision and redevelopment in our community as we tackle challenging reclamation projects; geared to revitalize our downtown and riverfront areas. Our commitment to quality guarantees our services beyond the completion of any project.

Cathy Lunsford

Cathy Lunsford has been associated with Bill Lunsford Construction & Development since 1992. She currently serves the firm as Director of Administration. She has over twenty years experience in marketing and accounting.

Prior to her association with the company she worked as Marketing Coordinator with Harbert International Inc. coordinating various proposals on domestic and international construction projects, overseeing the development of division advertising, marketing tools, and other public relations efforts. For many years prior to her involvement in the construction industry, Cathy served as Production Manager for a major advertising firm where she was responsible for total project coordination and media campaign buys for varied projects and clients.

Charles Lunsford

Charles Lunsford joined Bill Lunsford Construction & Development in 1989. Charles oversees general construction management. Charles has fifteen years prior industrial construction experience and has worked with Brown and Root, Mundy Industrial Maintenance, and International Paper Company. Charles successfully oversees a varied list of projects while maintaining the scheduling of labor crews.

Charles attended Walker Jr. College and Livingston University. He and his wife Gloria have two daughters and four grandchildren. He enjoys camping, boating, and fishing.

Ron Price is Vice President of Construction and Development. He brings over thirty years of construction experience to the team.  He directs all construction projects and investment opportunities, as well as planning strategies and establishing goals for the company.

A native of Tuscaloosa and a graduate of the University of Alabama, Ron’s knowledge of the community and extensive contacts assist him in keeping the pipeline full - with a range of projects from home remolding to new commercial and retail space.

Ron also serves as Government Relations Liaison for the company, maintaining communication with area elected officials. He serves on the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee as well as the Mayor’s Advisory Board in Tuscaloosa.

Ron has been active in the local Home Builders Association, Tuscaloosa Business Exchange and other civic clubs.  He and his wife, Deborah, have five children and three grand-children.

Comptroller

VA's Comptroller, Amy Floyd oversees all of the company's accounting and financial activities. She is a graduate of Rhodes College and has over seventeen years of experience in accounting and business management. Amy is a self-motivated financial officer with the proven ability to provide the key financial information needed to enable strategic foresight for the business and also to provide knowledgable and accurate information to colleagues and senior management; rigorously ensuring that all statutory and corporate obligations are met.

Project Support Specialist

Shay Eaves joined the company in 2016 as Project Support Specialist.  She brings over fifteen years of experience overseeing the complete processing of all bid documents, all initial project startup process documents, trade contracts and insurance documents.   Shay is instrumental in compliance assurance of all projects.   Her leadership and organizational skills, project management control knowledge, and client service expertise makes her an integral part of our corporate team.
